Thank you Miss Odea for everything for being a good teacher, letting me know that I can tell you anything and that I can trust you, and Making me be happy to come to school every day i enjoy having you as my teacher. Ive been writing notes to you about my feelings but haven’t shown you yet there is a bunch in my school bag. I don’t know when to show you but I’ll end up showing you my notes. I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything you guys are my best friends ever! I love you guys so much and am so lucky I met you. The kindest and the most caring, Beautiful people I know. I love every memory of us together the laugh attacks, Talking about everyone,mucking around in class time, Singing our hearts out and more.I hope we are still friends i love you so much.

Today Waikeri,Ashley,Pippa and me were playing
this game where we get to know each other i enjoyed playing this game.

Today a guy named Marlon who is from Colombia came and talked to me and my class about financial literacy. He gave us a budget which was $1800 and we are going on a trip to Fiji! The people in my group were Tiare, Aotea, Waikeri, Kalel and me. He gave us some options and we had to pick and the end we used all of our money and came second for how many fun points we got. Our fun points were (16). I enjoyed listening to Marlon.   

Yesterday before lunch some visitors came to our school named Taylor and Reuben. Came and instead of reading, they got some of the kids from school to act out a book. And the people that were acting were, Kihani, Kalel, Braeth, Reitu, and maybe another five boys. Kihani was Maui Kalel was the sun Braeth and the other five boys were Maui’s brothers. After they acted out the story of Maui they asked if anybody had any questions. Taylor and Reuben were asked a couple questions about books. Then to end the time we had with them our school did a waiata and Nelly said a thank you to them. I enjoyed watching the show.

My sisters, Cousins, and I went to Pukenui at the campsite. When my family and I first got to Pukenui we went to honey bees to have breakfast. After that, we went to the park and then went to the campsite. And waited till it was eleven so we could go to our cabin. We were at our cabin and we saw our cousins. My sisters, cousins and I got changed into our togs and went to the pools. Then we met some friends to play spotlight with. When we got to our cabin we had some food, After that we all went to the ocean, And had a swim for maybe 15 minutes. It was cold and my body felt numb, For the rest of the day, we went to the pools. Then when it was six we went to have fish and chips for dinner by the four square. An hour later we went to get all the kids to play spotlight then my Hoha cousin Tyrin got a cut on his forehead cause it was too dark and he ran into a tree. but we had a fun day up at Pukenui and I enjoyed it.

Today is Ag day and we made artwork I made a pot and an aqua jar. For my pot, I have done a koru design and wrote Muriwhenua which is where I am from, and wrote the five iwis. Ngati Kuri, Te Aupouri,Ngai Takato,Ngati Kahu and Te Rarawa. For the aqua jar, I had some sand shells and an octopus inside with water and blue dye.

Today at room three a artist named Matua BJ came to talk to room 5 and  room 3 
about the sculpture and stories about Ahipara.He said that the sculpture that he
 made when your coming into Ahipara is the People of Ahipara.He was also talking 
about someone called Patito.He was talking about why we need to respect eachother.And 
he said his pepeha to introduce his self.

Our school Ahipara has recently done cross country.If you dont know what cross country
is it is where you run around fields and try to come top ten.To go to the next cross 
country race.At pukepoto where our first cross country race was at i was running for 
how old i was on the first of january.I was running for the ten year olds but im 
eleven.I came third.At Peria i was gonna come 13th but i came 11th because.I just 
beat these two girls that were infront of me before the finishing line.I enjoyed 
doing cross country and i hope to do better next year.
